Mid-Century 1BR Bungalow At Famed Ocotillo Lodge

All good. A new toaster will be a good idea. The current toaster toasts only one side and burn almost immediately when used.Other than that small thing, we had a very relaxing stay.

This place was everything we could have hoped for with views, a comfortable bed, great amenities (the pool and two hot tubs were perfect) and a wonderful location. The check in process was easy and the host was very helpful. I’ll go back!!!

We come for the film festival and have stayed in other properties at Ocotillo Lodge. We loved this one the most, and will rent it again.

ProsQuiet, secure property with lots of available parkingLarge patio in this unit with morning sun exposureShort walk to a large Ralphs grocery storeSmall fitness facility on site which I was typically the only person usingConsThe HVAC unit is noisy and we found it too loud to sleep with it running.Poorly designed bathroom: very little counter space, one of those huge showerheads that can only shoot the water directly down on top of your head so it is difficult to shower if you don’t want to get your hair wet, and I was never able to get the water to run hot in the bathroom faucets.It took a minute or so to get hot water out of the other faucets and the shower.Bare concrete floors – maybe a personal peeve but I find concrete feels cold and gritty on the feet.

Daughter, 2-year-old granddaughter and I had a great visit. 'Really enjoyed the mid-century "vibe" and loved the pool!
